Hyperthermia

Dr. Nobuhiro Yoshimizu’s research

Introduction to Hyperthermia

Heat is one of the most important elements in the existence and creation of life.
Many living things cannot survive for long without heat, certainly not humans. Humans naturally receive their fair share of far-infrared radiation from the sun. In the Western world, there is a tendency to stay indoors and avoid exposure to the sun, and in many parts of the world, there is not enough sun, especially in winter.
Many of our body’s functions, including the production of vitamin D, are essential for both physical and mental health and depend on this heat.
When the amount of Far Infrared Radiation (FIR) begins to decrease, we inevitably begin to feel the effects, which is why it is essential for many people to supplement FIR, which comes from natural sources, rather than artificial sources. FIR devices, such as mattresses or saunas, offer a good solution.

Dr. Yoshimizu’s Journey

The pioneer of the use of far infrared as a means of treating cancer was a Japanese physician named Nobuhiro Yoshimizu. He was one of the first to conduct extensive studies on the effects of FIR on humans and one of the first scientists to link it to curing or alleviating the symptoms of several known diseases.

He coined the term “medical refugees” to refer to people with cancer who are considered incurable and untreatable. These people are usually sent home after undergoing radiation, chemotherapy, or surgery and there is no improvement in the condition of their cancer.

Dr. Yoshimizu believed that the method of introducing highly concentrated heat into the body could kill cancer cells and improve many other health conditions.

After developing the far infrared heating mat, Dr. Yoshimizu found that his treatment results improved dramatically. In fact, his cases, which included cases of prostate and breast cancer, were cured within two to three months of daily exposure to heat. In addition, he found that these mats had positive effects on a wide range of health conditions and improved quality of life.

Understanding the Effectiveness of Far-infrared Rays and Their Uses

Far infrared rays are a combination of electromagnetic waves, energy waves, and long-wavelength frequencies that are on the infrared spectrum that are part of the sun’s rays. They are invisible to the human eye, but their health benefits are countless.

There are also other bodies that naturally emit FIR, such as our hands and gemstones. When gemstones such as amethyst, tourmaline, jade, and obsidian are heated significantly, the amount of far infrared energy produced by and through them is very high.

Heating pads inlaid with precious stones will transfer heat that penetrates deeper into the layers of the skin and internal organs than any other heating sheet. They allow for a greater impact on health and can help the body make changes from within.

The benefits of far infrared therapy are mainly related to pain relief, detoxification, reduction of swelling and decrease of stiffness. In recent years, these rays have been used to improve arthritis, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, depression, cerebral ischemia, diabetes and other diseases.

Dr. Yoshimizu saw infrared thermal therapy as a health solution and conducted extensive research. He believed that this radiation could kill cancer cells while simultaneously strengthening the immune system.

Dr. Yoshimizu’s Results and Conclusions

According to Dr. Yoshimizu, far-infrared heating mattresses have proven that far-infrared ray therapy is able to attack and eliminate cancer cells while simultaneously strengthening the immune system.

In people with low immune systems their body temperature will almost always be low. When hypothermia occurs, enzymatic activity is reduced, allowing cancer cells to multiply.

He explains that when body temperature rises by just one degree, immunity increases by up to forty percent. Raising the temperature of the mattress to 45 degrees Celsius kills cancer cells.

With a one-degree drop, enzyme activity will drop by half, metabolism will decrease by 12%, and the efficiency of the immune system will decrease by almost forty percent.

Dr. Yoshimizu’s main criticism of standard Western cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and prescription drugs, is that they simultaneously weaken the patient’s immune system. Chemotherapy weakens and damages cancer cells, but it also does the same to healthy cells. This is why the use of thermotherapy is a significant alternative or addition. It helps eliminate cancer cells quickly, without sacrificing healthy cells.

Healthy body cells are not destroyed at a temperature of 45 degrees, but cancer cells are. Cancer cells are sensitive to thermotherapy because they are in a very acidic state, due to poor blood flow.

About 80% of cancer patients receive morphine for pain management. Thermotherapy helps the body produce natural endorphins to reduce and relieve pain. The process of pain reduction occurs by the production of heat shock protein (HSP). The production of the protein protects cells from thermal stress, the body’s natural response is to produce painkillers (endorphins) for relief.

Dr. Yoshimizu’s final conclusion was that far-infrared heating mats are very effective in warming the body, strengthening the immune system and weakening cancer cells. In his opinion, the most effective way to use far-infrared energy is to heat the body to 70 degrees Celsius for forty minutes to an hour at least once a day.

The treatments can be performed up to three times a day.
