Principles for Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle

By Dr. Kazuko Tatsumura-Hillier and Dr. Tomoko Mitsui

Start by taking note of the changes that stress has caused on your life. Accept the fact that it is okay to achieve only 70% of your goals and don’t accumulate mental and physical stress over this. Most diseases are a result of stress!

  • Fear is the biggest enemy. Get rid of the fear of cancer and always stay optimistic. Since we will die one way or another, cancer should not be something to be afraid of. The most important thing is to believe that you are capable of dealing with it. Believe that everything that happens to you in life is positive and avoid negative situations or people. Know that anger, anxiety and worry are enemies that create cancer. Know that unconditional gratitude is the key to the healing energy.
  • Maintain a core body temperature close to 37 degrees. Try using ankle warmers to keep your ankles warm. Take long, hot baths or use far infrared (FIR) products. Drink fresh ginger tea frequently.
  • Avoid treatments that deplete your immune system. Cancer is usually not completely cured by the three common treatments: surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Sometimes they even make the condition worse. Your own healing ability and immune system can cure cancer!
  • Stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, relieve the sympathetic nervous system by balancing the autonomic nervous system. Far infrared therapy creates stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system, relieves tension from the sympathetic nervous system and helps to completely balance the immune system.
  • Maintain a balanced diet, eat sparingly. You should eat more whole grains and foods with fiber, consume a variety of foods (36 types) that contain 5 components for 5 organs. Fermented foods are excellent. You should avoid alcohol or carbonated drinks, cigarettes and chemicals (processed products). It is recommended to incorporate a lot of herbs.
  • Eat yang foods, which warm the body, and reduce yin foods, which cool the body. You should avoid sweets, fried foods, and excess fresh fruit. Try to consume quality water. You should engage in moderate daily physical activity and take plenty of rest time, as healing requires energy. (Yoga, Tai Chi, or Qigong).
  • 90% of healing is mental. You must be grateful for everything and everyone around you at any given moment, especially the people close to you. Stay positive and don’t fear or be anxious about anything that is out of your control.
  • Use the Onnetsu therapy!!!
